• No Cloud Storage: We do not transmit your data to any external servers. We do not have access to the exercises or sensations you record.
• No Analytics: The App does not track your usage patterns or use third-party analytics to monitor your behavior.
• No Login Required: You are not required to create an account or provide any personal details to use the App.

2. How Information is Handled (Locally)

All data you enter—including exercise logs, sensations, and insights—is stored solely on your local device.

• Data Control: You have full control over your data.
• Backups and Exports: The App allows you to manually export your data into JSON or HTML formats. These files are saved to your phone's storage or shared via your device's native sharing menu. Once exported, the security of these files is your responsibility.
• Data Deletion: Uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data via system settings will permanently remove all locally stored logs and insights.

3. Third-Party Services

StepTrace does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or social media platforms that would collect or track your personal information.

4. Health and Fitness Data

While StepTrace is used to track exercise and sensations, it is not a medical device. The data is meant for personal insight only. Because all data remains on your device, we never have access to your health-related information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and posting the new version on our website or app store listing.
